Jerez MotoGp Still Held in 2012

Sport News 2012-Jerez MotoGP races are still held Spain 2012. This was confirmed after Dorna announced it had found an agreement with local authorities.

Jerez is one of the popular track and has held a MotoGP race since 1987. This circuit is also one of the first track that is routinely included in the MotoGP calendar.

But because of the crisis, the future of the Jerez circuit to roll out this 2012 MotoGP season was in doubt. But after finding a deal, Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta to find a deal for a new contract.

"We are pleased to announce the Grand Prix of Spain will be held at the Jerez circuit, a very special place for MotoGP," he said Dorna, as reported by Crash.net, Thursday (12/29/2011).

"I would like to thank the Junta de AndalucĂ­a and the City Council of Jerez de la Frontera for their support to hold this contest. We can not wait to the event and the focus of which is planned to discuss a new contract until 2016 later," he continued.

Obtained with certainty the Jerez circuit for the upcoming 2012 season, then stay the Sachsenring circuit in Germany are still Subject To Contract (not to get certainty-ed) to hold a MotoGP 2012.

Jerez is one of four places in Spain who hold a MotoGP. Apart from Jerez, there Catalunya, Aragon and Valencia.
